The Church Advances Under Fire
In Acts 5:21–42, the apostles face threats, violence, and pressure to stop preaching Jesus, yet they refuse to be silenced. Their example challenges us to obey God rather than ourselves, fear God rather than men, and follow Jesus wherever He leads.
Who’s First in Your Life?
Pastor Ritch teaches through Acts 5:12–21.
In Acts 5:12–21, God is doing extraordinary things through the early church. People are being healed, delivered, and saved—but while many rejoice at what God is doing, the religious leaders respond with jealousy and opposition.
Their response exposes an important question for every Christian: Who’s first in your life?
Jealousy can make us resent something good simply because someone else received the success, recognition, influence, or opportunity we wanted. The religious leaders were so concerned with protecting their own position that they were willing to oppose the very work of God.
The apostles show us a radically different response. After being arrested for preaching Jesus, an angel opens the prison and God sends them right back to the temple to keep preaching. They obey—even though obedience could cost them everything. God doesn’t ask us to understand the plan before we obey the command. Obedience trusts God with the consequences.
Attacks From WITHIN
Pastor Ritch teaches through Acts 5:1-16 with a focus on the dangers to the Church from within the Church itself.
Prayer, Boldness, & Generosity
Pastor Ritch teaches through Acts 4:23-37 with a focus on how the early church was marked by:
Selfless Prayer
Boldness in Preaching
Radical Generosity
The Name of Jesus

The Fellowship of Believers

To Be Cut to the Heart
Pastor Ritch teaches through Acts 2:14-41 (part 2) with the idea in mind that for anyone to have their lives changed by Jesus, they must first be “cut to the heart” by the message of the Gospel, but anyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved!
Abilities of the Spirit
Pastor Ritch teaches through Acts 2:14-41 and how every one of God's people will have the Holy Spirit and that will lead to supernatural experiences with God. Every one who calls upon the name of the Lord will be saved.
The Holy Spirit Comes
Pastor Ritch teaches through Acts 2:1-13 and the coming of the Holy Spirit; one of the most important events in the history of the Church.
Ready and Waiting
Pastor Ritch teaches through Acts 1:12-26 and how the early church waited in preparation for the promised Holy Spirit.
The Mission is Given
