The Gospel of Forgiveness

Pastor Ritch continues our study through The Gospel According to John with a focus on:

  • Jesus' resurrected body...seems to be unrecognizable to the disciples until they see His scars.

  • Jesus BREATHES on them and gives them the Holy Spirit

  • Jesus says, "If you forgive the sins of any, they are forgiven them; if you withhold forgiveness from any, it is withheld"

  • Jesus waits EIGHT DAYS between visits with the disciples. WHERE does He go? What are THEY doing?. Very odd..

  • The purpose of the entire book of John is for all of us readers to BELIEVE--not like Thomas, but--even though we will not see Jesus face to face yet

  • Every good thing comes from Jesus.
