Everything Good Comes From Jesus
Pastor Ritch continues our study through The Gospel According to John with a focus on:
Jesus meets you in the ordinary places of life.
Apart from Jesus, our efforts come up empty.
Obedience to Jesus--even when it doesn't make sense--leads to fruits.
Jesus is the SOURCE of all fruit.
Every good thing comes from Jesus.
Good News for Skeptics
Pastor Ritch continues our study through The Gospel According to John with a focus on:
Thomas refuses to believe the testimony of his MOST TRUSTED friends.
Jesus Accommodates Thomas' skepticism
Blessed are those who believe WITHOUT seeing Him personally
Jesus waits EIGHT DAYS between visits with the disciples. WHERE does He go? What are THEY doing?. Very odd..
The purpose of the entire book of John is for all of us readers to BELIEVE--not like Thomas, but--even though we will not see Jesus face to face yet
Every good thing comes from Jesus.
The Gospel of Forgiveness
Pastor Ritch continues our study through The Gospel According to John with a focus on:
Jesus' resurrected body...seems to be unrecognizable to the disciples until they see His scars.
Jesus BREATHES on them and gives them the Holy Spirit
Jesus says, "If you forgive the sins of any, they are forgiven them; if you withhold forgiveness from any, it is withheld"
Easter Sunday: The Day That Changed Everything
Pastor Ritch continues our study through The Gospel According to John with a focus on:
The resurrection of Jesus changes everything!
Mary Anoints Jesus
In John 12:1–8, Mary anoints Jesus’ feet with expensive perfume, wiping them with her hair in a beautiful act of love and devotion. While others criticize her for wasting something so valuable, Jesus defends her, saying she has prepared Him for burial. Her worship shows the worth of Christ—nothing given to Him is ever wasted.
The Plot to Kill Jesus
In John 11:45–47, after Jesus raises Lazarus from the dead, many believe in Him—but the miracle also stirs fear among the religious leaders. Instead of celebrating the sign, they worry about losing power and control. Their response reveals hearts more concerned with position than truth, setting in motion the plan to kill Jesus.
